Feedback from pitch
From our pitch we received feedback that will help us improve the opening of our teen movie.
Good things: One of the things people liked about our pitch was our idea of what will be happening in the opening,we were told the overall idea of our opening was great idea!
Another thing that was liked was that our pitch covered all the required information needed and it was clear on how we were planning to make our opening scene of the teen film.
Bad things: One of the mistakes we had made was not checking whether the music we intended to use was copyright free, this is a major problem as we could get into trouble for not having permission to use someone else's music.to resolve this issue we will now ask friends that we know to produce some music for us so we can use in our opening.
Another thing we got feedback on was that the sub - genres we chose didn't really go well with our opening so we were told to change them to something more suitable.

Trapped - Checklist for filming on monday
This is the checklist created for mondays lesson where we will start filiming our opening scene of "Trapped".We individually have props and costumes we need to bring in for monday.
Soundtrack Task
Our task
was to watch a clip of an opening with no sound and to add in a
soundtrack that would best suit the clip that was given to us. We also
had to use soundtrack that was free to use as copyright is a legal act
and we will not be allowed to use a soundtrack that did not belong to
us.
We
used a site called 'Creative Commons' which was a website which had
free music and sountracks available for us to use for our task. Because
the scene looked as though it was calm and lonely, we decided to choose a
depressing soundtrack which we thought best suited the clip.
Here is our version of the clip:

Prezi Presentation Pitch - Feedback
After pitching our prezzi's to our audience, we gained positive and negative feedback which would help us improve our plans on filming our opening.
Positive Feedback
We were told that our group had a strong idea as we decided to use three different characters which allow us to use more imagination when introducing each one of them in the opening. For example, For Cassie we would use upbeat, girly music and also dress her in designer labels to represent her character as being very fashionable and appearance focused.
They also liked the idea of the three characters getting ready for college in the morning because again, it introduces the protagonists and also an introduction to a new stage in their life which is college.
Negative Feedback
Our group originally wanted to show skill in our openings by using a cyclical structure by starting off with a problem of being stuck in the lift and then taking it back to how the day began and eventually lead back to the problem, but we were told that it would over complicate things and we should just open the film by introducing the characters and then lead to the problem.
Also, we wanted to use a picture of the earth dissolving into a map, London, the town where the characters live and then their building but we were told that we had to use our own footage and not an image we browsed on the internet for. We knew that this would be difficult for us because we wouldn't be able to take our own picture of the Earth so instead, we decided to take a close up shot of the street name and then show shots of the building that the three characters live in to set the scene.
Another issue we had was the music we wanted to use to represent the three characters. We had to be careful that the music we wanted to use was copyright free as we could get into a lot of trouble for using someone else's music without their permission.
