Filming the remake of The Breakfast Club

Filming the Remake of The Breakfast Club

How we found the filming:
The filming required several props and locations which we found the most difficult part of filming.

The main prop which we struggled to find was the four different cars that were used in the remake as we are too young to be able to drive and even own one. However, we just showed our characters, (Nadia, Thahmina and Jakir) as if we were inside the cars and acted out the scenes in the opening in a classroom.

When it came to showing a close up of the first car, we used a toy car to show the bonnet of the girls fathers car, we used a dissolve transition to smoothly connect it to the scene inside the vehicle. To find the locations was easy as we are in a college which is an advantage that works in our favour as the breakfast club is based inside and outside of the high school.

The things we found difficult about filming was not having enough people in our group; as their were only 3 of us. We took multiple roles of the characters.

Overall, the filming part of the task was very tricky but also very fun to do. We needed to bring in all the props for the remake to make it duplicate to the opening as possible.
