Planning for Trapped - First Draft

TRAPPED

STORYLINE:

Storyboard:

1. Titles/Credits 
2. Film name
3. Earth, Map, Satellite, Estate Building (transition of zooming smoothly)
4. Banging on the lift doors - (rewind to the beginning of scene)
5. Nadia: (MAYA) the bedroom scene - (voichgeover) writing in her diary, packing bags
6. Jakir: (TREVOR) the bedroom scene (music) phones ringing, smoking out the window
7. Thahmina: (CASSIE) the bedroom scene (music) putting on makeup, outfit changes
8. Back to Nadia's room (voiceover)
9. All 3 characters leave their front door at the same time
10. Get inside the lift at different levels - Nadia 1st, Jakir 2nd, Thahmina 3rd
11. Nadia's diary drops and Jakir picks it up and makes fun of her; rumble/arguments (script) 

Nadia's Voiceover:

Dear Diary, 

its 7.43am and I've been dressed since 6:00.  I wasn't able to sleep all night, I've been feeling nervous for the past week and the day has finally arrived. Monday 5th September 2014, my first day at college, my worst nightmare. I was bullied at school; so why would college be any different? In fact, this was bound to be my worst 2 years of my life. College is where innocent girls turn into sluts and boys which would do anything to get them into bed. You have "the nerds", "the asians", "The Blacks" "the drug addicts " and  "unsociables" .Oh yeah, the worst of all those groups would have to be "the populars", I'd do anything to avoid any sort of interaction with them.You had that handsome looking boy that all the girls would die for. (JAKIRS ROOM SCENE) And then that girl who everyone's scared of, always looking glamorous with her fancy designer handbags and shoes who would look for every possible way to make your life miserable. (THAHMINAS ROOM SCENE) (THEN BACK TO NADIAS ROOM) and then there's me, an outcast, a nobody who doesn't fit in with anybody. God knows how I'm going to make it through the next two years.

(ALARM GOES OFF MAYA GETS READY FOR SCHOOL)
