Voice over – Dear Mr
Burnette, We accept the fact that we had to sacrifice a whole Saturday in
detention for whatever it was we did wrong. What we did was wrong but we think you’re crazy to make us write an essay to
you on who we think we are. What do you care? You see us as you wanna see us.
In simplest terms, and most convenient definitions, see us as a brain, an
athlete, a basket case, a princess, a criminal. That’s the way we saw eachother
at seven o clock this morning. We were brainwashed.
The first girl – I can’t believe u can’t get me out of this. It’s
so absurd that I have to be here on a Saturday. It’s not like it was effective
or anything.
Her dad – I’ll make it up to you , Honey missing class to go
shopping doesn't make you effective. Have a good day. (Gives her a bag as she
walks out)
Boys mum – This is the first time and the last time you
do this.
Boy – last
Boys mum – Well get in there and use the time to your
advantage
Boy – Mum we’re not suppose to study we’re just suppose
to sit there and do nothing.
Boys mum – Well Mr you figure out a way to study.
Baby – Yeaahhhh
Boys mum – Well go!! (Boy gets out the car)
Boys dad – Hey I screwed around. Guys screw around
there’s nothing wrong with that. Except you got caught.
Boy – yeah mum already reminded me alright.
Boys dad – You wanna miss a match? You wanna blow your
ride? (Boy shakes his head) And how is school going to give a scholarship for
discipline case? (Boy walks out the car and slams the door).
(Someone in glasses walks in front of the car and car has
to emergency break)
