Representation is the way someone or something is portrayed.
Below is an example of representation. These boys are presented to look like "hood rats".this is shown by their faces covered, hoods on and them doing nothing on the streets.
The teen social groups that we have represented in our teen film opening have been inspired by the well known films mean girls, adulthood and lemonade mouth.
We have gotten the idea of the character Maya from Regina George who is the popular girl in mean girls.
the idea for Trevor from the character called Sam from adulthood
and the idea for Maya from the character called Olivia White from lemonade mouth.
Trevor is seen smoking, this is used because usually it is the bad boys who smoke and take drugs though out films.
Maya is scene wearing glasses and this was used because unpopular people tend to be wearing glasses to show they are geeks.
And Cassie is shown getting dressed this is done to show she really cares about her appearance
I would say we have portrayed characters negatively as we portray Trevor as a smoker however not all bad boys are smokers.

Usually it is teenagers who watch teen films as they can relate to them and they understand what is happening better than adults. It is an inspiration to them as they think they can learn from it.
For our teen film the target audience is teenagers from a lower class background both male and female.we chose this because they will be able to relate to it best as it may be what they experience.

How we used our rough cut feedback to help us make our opening sequence of Trapped more effective and appeal more to our targeted audience.
I used a website called Stupeflix to edit this video
Our final opening sequence:
We uploaded our video to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter as these were all social networking sites where we can filter people of our age group to see our personal posts.

We also watched our film opening in the cinema which was aimed exclusively to students. It was really exciting to see our project on the big screen! Here is a video we took during our two minutes of fame!
Here is some of the feedback we got from our teens!
Here is a poster I have also created for our film 'Trapped'. I have made Jakir's photo bigger than the two girls and also have placed him in the middle as he is good looking and an attraction to teenage girls who might want to watch the film. Also, Thahmina is also a pretty girl in the film which could also bring in female viewers as they could potentially see her as their celebrity idol in the future. Finally, I have added in a quote to show that someone has enjoyed watching it along with 4 stars to show it's ratings.
I edited this poster on an android app called 'PicsArt - Photo Studio'

EVALUATION QUESTION 5
HOW DID YOU ATTRACT/ ADDRESS YOUR AUDIENCE?
Made on: http://pixlr.com/
- I chose to make the poster purposly dark and quite faded to give a sense of mysteriousness, and to create climax upon the audience to try figure out what this film would be about giving it the end for them wanting to know more. I didn't want to give alot of information away therefore I limited of what I wanted to show. Giving it quotes and slogans making it appear more realistic and gave it a review from a well known source.HOW WE GOT IT AROUND TO OUR AUDIENCE:VIA YOUTUBE:

my use of ICT skills
I used many different applications to make my blog posts more interesting and make sure they are not boring.

Our group
THAHMINA JAKIR NADIA
At the start, we decided we want to be in a group together as we work well together and get along with each other well,we didnt know each other very well before this project however we still got on really well and made sure we were organised with our blog and got the work done as well as have fun at the same time.
We all contributed to the making of trapped equally and had really good ideas.
Since the beginning we have always worked as a team helping each other every step of the way.
