How I Found Using the Softwares for Editing

FINAL CUT PRO

We used Final Cut Pro to edit our opening sequence. We found it very frustrating if I am being honest as there were so many things we needed to adjust to make scenes fit with the timing but eventually we got there. Along the way we did learn some new skills which helped us make our sequence look a lot more professional such as 'Split Screening', Transitions, Cropping scenes/audio and also adjusting volume. This was difficult to do at the start but once we had more practice at it we eventually found it pretty easy. I will love to use Final Cut Pro again to do a project like this. I really loved the whole process of it.

Motion

Motion was a really quick and easy software to use for our Distribution and Production Ident. It was basically just a picture in motion which presents titles at the end of the motion which we found was the perfect way to make an ident. We used Skyline for the Distribution ident as we thought that the silhouette of the buildings would give an urban feel to our movie before it started. We also thought that the colours Black and Red also gave that street, teenage feel. We also made another production ident which included square blocks unfolding and then showing our production name which we named " TNJ Productions". We made the TNJ appear suddenly in red block writing so the audience would remember our ident in future.
